September kept the whole team at BM Select working overtime. On top of our Investor Edge launch, our mortgage agents were getting out there hitting the pavement, working with our partners to ensure everyone is up to date on all the recent happenings in the mortgage and interest rate world. Vice President, Daniel Patton, kicked off the month stopping by Michael St. Jean Realty to chat with Michael, Teresa, Robin, and their dynamic team about upcoming mortgage changes, the latest interest rate updates, and other market shifts. It turned into a great conversation filled with insights, questions, and practical takeaways for navigating today’s real estate landscape.

Next, our very own Sr. Mortgage Agent, Michael Zanzini, was off to visit and congratulate our partners at Our Neighbourhood Realty, who recently announced a major merger with Royal LePage. Michael visited the Toronto office to connect with the team and take part in the very first Royal LePage/ONR team meeting, where he provided a timely market update and introduced himself to many new faces.

Michael then hit the road again, travelling to Peterborough as a guest speaker for a Smart Home Choice property tour, which drew a strong turnout of eager investors. The tour showcased successful duplex and triplex conversions, as well as completed garden suite projects. Michael was educating the attendees on the success of our BM Select Investor Edge pilot program that we quietly ran this past spring and summer.

Daniel was on the webinar trail later in the month, as the guest expert mortgage speaker for two separate Investment Club partners of ours. First for our dear friends at RockStar Real Estate, sharing the latest rate trends, their impact on mortgage affordability and renewals, and a fresh market update with key strategies for buyers and investors.

Then it was time for Dan to join the KeySpire crew and share information on strategic ways to access home equity and boost cash flow, fund new acquisitions, and increase long-term property value. It was a dynamic, idea-packed event with open dialogue and practical strategies for investors ready to scale.

Finally, Michael capped off the month by spending some time with real estate investing stalwarts, Kory McKinnon and Danielle Chaisson. They met up in Toronto at the Rogers Centre, watching and celebrating the Blue Jays’ huge division-clinching win over the Tampa Bay Rays. They enjoyed some great discussion around the expanded financing options for investor clients through our upcoming Investor Edge product launch.
